Let me take you back to the year 2013, two youngsters were about to meet, pash and have the trajectory of their lives change forever. It was a function at Bundoora Football club called ‘night at the races’ It was the first year Hollie’s Netball Club merged with Jake’s Football club and the girls were out to party.

“Jake wanted to have his driver’s licence before he asked Hollie to officially be his GF, he was chomping at the bit to get this licence, but sadly he failed and had to wait another week for his next test. In the meantime, Hollie is like “is he ever going to ask me to be his girlfriend”.
The time had come, his licence in hand, the borrowed car from dad, they head to Macca’s Mill Park where he buys Hollie a big mac and asks her to be his girlfriend.”

“Jake was like “she’s so hot!” but it wasn’t long before he started falling for her sense of humour, it was easy to laugh and enjoy each other’s company.”

“Hollie was smitten with Jakes smile, she thought it was the cutest smile ever! Then, strangely enough, his voice was something she couldn’t get enough of, once he stopped being so nervy and started to actually talk, it was so calming and made her feel so comfortable.”

“Holl, as I stand in front of you today, I am in awe of how beautiful you really are. I can’t wait to start this new and exciting adventure with the person I love most in this world.”

“Jake, I have thought about this day for a very long time, I’ve thought about my dress, the people who would share this day with us, but most of all I’ve thought about what to say to you in this very moment…and the one thing that kept coming to my mind every time was that I’ve loved you from the moment I met you. “

“They turned 21, and they asked the burning questions, what am I doing, what are we doing? We’re having fun, do we just keep having fun or do we get sorted, so they got sorted like all grown up sorted, along came their gorgeous Lenny, so far so good, then saving for a house, so all the big stuff got sorted, they knew their future was together.”

“Hollie fell in love with Jakes sense of Humour, his passions for the things he loves, his kindness towards anyone and everyone and most importantly the way he makes her feel every single day… supported and loved.

Jake fell in love with how hardworking Hollie is, kind of a little obsessive he said, but to be admired. He loved how natural it was to get along when they first met… it just felt right.
